This alcove was a natural location for the double vanity...and access to the master closet.
Wire track lighting compliments the vessel vanity bowls...which you simply lift to drain. Water appears as if by magic...flowing from the mirror over the bowls.
A custom designed closet...accompanying cabinets with drawers.....and an extension of the wire track lighting.....complete this master bath suite.
What was once considered an upscale luxury bath...with soaking tub...a “wire glass” shower door...seen in the mirror...as part of a separate shower and toilet room.....yields to an upscale contemporary open style. “Camelot Cherry-Harvest Bronze” cabinetry beautifully blends with the “Crema Bordeaux” granite vanity top and accent caps on the privacy half-walls.
The shower features a rain shower head...a hand-held shower wand...and body-spray wall tiles...by Kohler®. This “shower room” design eliminates the need for a shower door...or shower curtain...which of course eliminates one of the more tedious clean-up chores.
Eliminating a “step-over threshold”...not only completes the spa shower...it also meets the most stringent ADA specifications...for ease of access.

Let’s take a closer look. The crystal design is a replica of the Pennsylvania Dutch hex sign...seen on the barns exterior (above). Frosted glass...with it’s “bevel-edge” flower petals...highlighted by the perimeter lighting system...is held in place with a custom made trim casing. The opposite side of the crystal window can also be seen from the great room below...while a rheostat control allows for setting the mood.
“Joy and Prosperity”... is the underlying
theme of this “hex sign”.
